Twisted but tasty.
I’m just waiting for Sams Club pizza to come home with my girls. Could’ve been prime rib, but the wife and I decided to stay home and finish our family Monopoly game instead of go to the school Gala and auction at the Adolphus.

It was a fat old ewe who hadn’t managed to get pregnant for three years. Once is a fluke, twice is a pattern, three strikes you’re out. She was FAT, and as such, she is very tasty.

It was super tasty. Garlic, rosemary and salt. T hat’ s it. Mutton is a little like venison, but much milder... our sheep don’t tend to be gamey at all, but the flavor and texture are not quite like beef. I like it a lot actually.

F acts of farm life. This old ewe was a serial non-lamb-haver, so she became tasty. Very tasty.

I do the same with my experimental mice. The gals get old and fat, and once they stop producing, they’re out. I don’t eat them though. Although I do have an old recipe for s ouris a la creme.

Tonight was the monthly board game night with my wife’s former coworkers. That is basically a pot luck. Bonus, one of the guys is a CIA graduate; culinary institute of America not spy stuff as far as I know.
Along with that I drank too much.

Mutton is the best...even in Oz though it is hard to get. Slow cooked shoulder with lemons and olives and Mediterranean herbs is something else...
We have had two meals so far this past weekend out of a BBQed butterflied lamb leg... rosemary, garlic, salt, olive oil...20 minutes a side. Heaven...
